How a consignment runs
Valuation and asking price
We inspect the car, compare it against current listings and agree an asking price with you, plus the floor you will not go below.
Day one
We market and screen buyers
Professional photos, a written listing across all major portals, and our own dealer network. Enquiries, viewings and test drives are handled by us.
Two to four weeks
We negotiate and close
We negotiate up to your number, prepare the sales agreement, and complete the LTA transfer. Our fee only applies once the car is sold.
On agreement
Everything a private sale asks of you
Consignment is not just a listing. It is the whole job of selling, done for you.
Presentation and listing
Grooming, professional photography and a written description that answers the questions buyers actually ask. Listed across the major portals and our dealer network.
Included
Viewings and test drives
Buyers are screened before they see the car. Viewings happen at our premises, so no strangers at your home and no wasted weekends.
Included
Negotiation and paperwork
We hold the line on price, then prepare the sales agreement, settle any finance and complete the transfer at LTA.

When consignment pays off
Consignment usually beats an outright sale, but not always. These are the cases where it makes the most difference.
Well-kept, in-demand models — a clean service record and a desirable variant give us room to hold out for a private-buyer price.
You are not in a rush — the strongest offers come from individual buyers, and reaching them takes weeks rather than hours.
Dealer offers feel low — trade-in and bidding prices are wholesale. Consignment sells at retail, less our fee.
You would rather not deal with buyers — no enquiries at midnight, no test drives with strangers, no haggling.

Consignment, answered
Our consultants answer the hotline 24 hours a day if your question is not here.
How much does consignment cost?
Nothing upfront. Our fee is agreed with you at the start and only payable once the car is sold. If it does not sell, you owe nothing.
Who decides the selling price?
You do. We recommend an asking price based on current market listings and agree a floor with you. No offer below that floor is accepted without your say.
Where is my car kept?
At our premises, insured and under cover, where viewings and test drives take place. You can visit or take it back at any time.
How long does it usually take?
Most cars sell within three weeks. Pricing is the main factor; we will tell you honestly if the asking price is likely to slow things down.
What if I change my mind?
You can withdraw the car from consignment at any point before a sale is agreed, at no cost.
Find out what your car could fetch
We will value the car, suggest an asking price, and tell you whether consignment or an outright sale pays more.
